About Azlo

Azlo is a new fintech company that helps business owners, entrepreneurs, and freelancers pay, get paid, and manage their money. Backed by BBVA, we’re on a mission to transform small business banking. We’re looking for a Risk Operations Associate to oversee critical parts of our customer onboarding, account monitoring, and customer resolution operations. This specific role is geared towards review of international clients and specialized cases.

What You'll Do

  • Perform day-to-day operations of risk reviews for Azlo accounts, including all accounts from international customers and specialized, irregular cases
  • Analyze and decision customer accounts for risk
  • Support build out and scale of team risk systems and rulesets
  • Settle and resolve customer issues as relates to risk or fraud
  • Provide input into product features and design
  • Adapt, maintain, or define new processes or policies as required

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ years at a financial institution or equivalent, experience in risk operations a plus
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Strong analytic and decision making capabilities
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to design and build new systems or processes
  • Experience with Clear/Worldcheck a plus
  • Familiarity and/or knowledge of regulatory and compliance trends in the US a plus
  • Additional experience as a risk analyst, fraud analyst, or risk management, or risk monitoring a plus
  • Experience working with international clients, preferentially in international banking or payments a plus
